Computer Vision Laboratory

Professor James W. Davis' Computer Vision Laboratory in the OSU Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a 723 square foot networked laboratory space that includes several high-performance PCs, multiple video cameras (color and IR sensitivity), Matrox image/video capture boards, and miscellaneous media equipment. The lab has installed an outdoor video surveillance research platform consisting of 6 pan-tilt-zoom color video cameras (Pelco Spectra III SE with IR-mode) and a thermal IR camera (Raytheon 300D). In addition, a building-wide motion sensor network (ceiling mounted) has been installed throughout the CSE Department building, with 5 sensors per floor across 7 floors.
